We work with individuals and families who require tailored support, including finding a doctor and/or healthcare facility, working through the healthcare system, clinical communication, navigating a new health diagnosis, obtaining a second opinion, post-care follow-up, and more. Patient advocates provide education and support, ultimately improving health outcomes and reducing disparities for patients with complex needs or limited health literacy.
Patient advocates can do a lot, Medical Tourism RN can help with the following:
We educate, guide, and advocate for patients considering or receiving healthcare services both in the U.S. and internationally.
Help patients, families, and their caregiver(s) understand, access, and utilize healthcare services, identify and overcome barriers to care, coordinate appointments and treatments and explain treatment options.
Help you create a medical/medical tourism binder and understand why you need it
We provide in-person or virtual (telephonic) accompaniment services to support patients during doctor’s appointments and for procedures— helping them ask questions, understand medical information and options, and advocate for their care needs.
Coordinate communication with physicians and members of the care team to ensure accurate updates, timely sharing of medical information, and alignment on treatment decisions. This includes clarifying questions, relaying patient concerns, and supporting collaborative care planning.
Schedule appointments, tests, and procedures across multiple providers or facilities
Provide clear explanations of diagnoses, medications, and care plans and clarify instructions
Our Advocacy Services Retainer provides clients with ongoing, personalized support for their healthcare journey. By securing a retainer, clients gain priority access to Medical Tourism RN for expert guidance, case management, and navigation across U.S. and international healthcare systems. Services may include:
